The Zilant sports complex traditionally hosts the qualifying stages of the all-Russian "Golden puck" ice hockey tournament among children's yard teams. ‘Zilant’ is the home arena of Amateur teams of the ice hockey Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the XXVII world student Games 2013, the preliminary volleyball games were held here.
Kazan Tennis Academy is the largest modern tennis complex in Russia. Every year the Kazan Academy of tennis hosts the Kazan Kremlin Cup (ATP series), Tatarstan Open (ITF series), the Russian tennis championship, the Yeltsin Cup (youth competitions), as well as the Kazan world Grand Prix in beach tennis.
As part of the 2013 Universiade, the Kazan Tennis Academy became the arena for tennis and badminton competitions. In 2011 and 2014, the facility hosted the Davis Cup stage.

It has multifunctional grounds for training and organization of competitions of any level. After the 2013 Universiade, the Gymnastics Center is actively used for the training process. Aquatics Palace - the best pool in Russia. The largest indoor water sports facility in Russia. The Palace was built in Kazan in preparation for the XXVII World Student Games, for competitions in synchronized swimming, diving, swimming and water Polo. Palace has four swimming pools. Jumping zone, lifting bottom, modern underwater sound system-all these are unique characteristics for holding competitions at any level and staging water shows. The Palace is the home arena for the student swimming and water polo teams of the Volga Region University. It’s the traditional venue for the Championships of Russia and training camps of the main and reserve teams. More than 2.5 thousand children train in sports and recreation sections of the Aquatics Palace in 18 sports. Among them - potential schoolchildren of the Republican school of the Olympic reserve. In 2015, the Palace hosted the XVI FINA World Championships in aquatics, including in the ‘Masters’ category.
Badminton center opened in 2016, is located on the territory of the Kazan tennis Academy and is part of the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism, where the educational and training process of students is organized, as well as group badminton classes at the stages of initial training.
