Master's degree in the field of training 49.04.01 Physical culture, profile - Management in physical culture and sports is focused on training qualified managers of different levels of management and specialists who can successfully work in sports organizations of any form of ownership, be able to predict and program the processes of development of the field of physical culture and sports, conduct experimental work, identify problems and find optimal solutions to them.

On the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan there are state authorities in the field of physical culture and sports, Committees for Physical Culture and Sports, Departments for Youth and Sports, Departments for Physical Culture and Sports of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan; territorial public physical culture and sports organizations and associations, sports complexes and commercial physical culture and sports organizations, in which graduates of this educational program of higher education can work as managers of different levels of management.

The level of development of the physical culture and sports sphere in the Republic of Tatarstan, both in terms of the number of physical culture and sports facilities and the scale of physical culture and sports events, imposes the highest demands on the training of professional managers - sports managers, specialists with competencies to achieve the goals of managing sports organizations , sports events - competitions, festivals, games, tournaments, etc.

The Republic of Tatarstan has a rare physical culture and sports potential, which is determined by the unique sports heritage (objects of the Universiade 2013), favorable geographical location, the presence of a megalopolis-Kazan.

The list of the main objects (or areas of knowledge) of the professional activity of graduates: management of the activity and development of an organization operating in the field of physical culture and sports; carrying out research work. Professional standard is " The head of an organization (division of an organization) carrying out activities in the field of physical culture and sports".

The program volume is 120 credit units (1 credit unit is equal to 36 academic hours) for the entire period of study and includes all types of classroom, independent student work and practice. The volume of the master's degree program, implemented in one academic year on a full-time basis is 60 credit units.

49.04.03 Sports

Profile of the educational program - Theory and practice of elite sports, qualification (degree) of a graduate – master, form of study - full-time.

The purpose of the program: the formation of students' personal qualities, as well as general cultural, general professional and professional competencies, the development of skills for their implementation in pedagogical, coaching and research activities.

The area of graduates professional activity includes:

  • education in the field of physical culture and sports;
  • management in the field of physical culture and sports;
  • conducting scientific research in the field of physical culture and sports.

The types of professional activities for which graduates of the program are preparing:

  • scientific and pedagogical (main);
  • organizational and managerial;
  • coaching.

The graduate must have the following general cultural, general professional and professional competencies:

  • readiness for self-development, self-realization, and the use of creative potential;
  • the ability to analyze, generalize and broadcast the best pedagogical experience of sports and recreation and preparatory competitive activities;
  • the ability to organize individual and collective work with all categories of the population in specific types of physical culture and sports activities, willingness to cooperate with colleagues;

The term of education, including holidays provided after passing the state final certification, is 2 years.

The program is aimed at training masters who can successfully work in the field of physical culture and sports, conducting scientific research in the field of physical culture and sports.

Being a part of the program, graduates can prepare to solve the following types of professional tasks:

  • coaching - development and implementation of sports training programs, training of athletes;
  • research - planning and implementation of applied works of a theoretical and experimental nature in order to determine methods for improving the effectiveness of activities in physical culture and sports, conducting research.

Areas of professional activity in which graduates can carry out professional activities:

  • 01 Education and science (in the field of scientific knowledge);
  • 05 Physical culture and sports (in the field of training sports reserves, regional and national sports teams).

The Master's degree program is carried out in full-time form and lasts for 2 years. The volume of the master's program is 120 credit units (1 credit unit is equal to 36 academic hours).

The results of the educational program development are determined by the competencies acquired by the graduate, i.e. his ability to apply knowledge, skills and experience in accordance with the tasks of professional activity.

The program is aimed at training specialists who will be able to develop research work and introduce new technologies in the field of medical and biological problems of sports, apply in practice scientific and theoretical knowledge in the assessment of the functional state and physical performance of athletes.

Students will learn to plan the functional training of athletes, based on individual characteristics and biological patterns of long-term adaptation of the body to physical activity, as well as use various scientific approaches for medical and biological support of the training process.

The purpose of the main educational program is the formation of social and personal qualities: morality, general pedagogical skills, the ability to quickly adapt to society and realize their creative personal pedagogical potential, dedication, organization, hard work, responsibility, a clear civic position, communication skills, tolerance.

The fields of graduates professional activity are:

  • activities in the field of vocational training, vocational education, additional education, as well as scientific research in the field of tourism;
  • activities, including the development and sale of tourism products and services with qualities that meet the requirements of consumers, the organization of comprehensive tourism services in the main sectors of the tourism industry, the design of tourism and recreation areas and complexes, and their management.
