Congratulations of the Minister of sports of the Russian Federation Pavel Kolobkov on the day of knowledge and the beginning of the new academic year

Dear friends!
On behalf of the Ministry of sports of the Russian Federation and myself, I congratulate all students and teachers of educational institutions of sports orientation on the day of knowledge and the beginning of the school year!
I am glad to note that the systematic work to improve the training of the sports reserve in Russia gives positive results: schoolchildren and students consistently demonstrate high skills at major international competitions.
This year, Russian athletes with a great advantage won the world winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk and showed a decent result at the world summer Universiade in Naples.
The achievements of the Russians have largely contributed to the fact that international organizations trust us to conduct the most large-scale sporting events. Thus, in 2023 Russian Ekaterinburg will host the world summer Universiade.
The success of our young athletes became possible thanks to the work, knowledge and methods of many thousands of workers in the field of physical culture and sports.
I would like to note that the preparation of the sports reserve and strengthening of the personnel potential of the industry are an important component of the Federal project "Sport – the norm of life". Its main goal is to increase the number of systematically engaged in physical culture and sports Russians to 55% of the total population of the country. At the same time, it is schoolchildren and students who lead the most active lifestyle among other categories of citizens.
Dear friends! I sincerely wish all students in the new academic year great victories in education and sports, and coaches and teachers – a sense of pride for the success of their students! Happy knowledge Day!
